Laurent will continue to serve as Director of Development for the Bilingual Montessori School of Paris and as President of the Montes-sori Endowment Fund for Children, and will assume business development for Montessori Connect . Barbara’s son, Laurent, was born in Paris in 1974. Laurent attended the BMSP Children’s House, and later graduated from Ecole Active Bilingue with a Bac B, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Sarah Lawrence College, and an M.Sc. in Finance from Baruch City University of NY. Laurent initially worked in Film & Commercial production, then as a financial broker on Wall Street and London for 10 years. Laurent joined the School in 2012 as a Teacher and has been serving as Director of Development, helping guide the continuation of his mother’s work. He currently holds AMI Diplomas for the 3-6 and the 6-12 age ranges and dedicates his life to the development and legacy of the School.
